What is Social Prescribing?
Social prescribing is an approach to helping improve people’s health and wellbeing.
Its core principals are around:
-
Building a strong relationship with an individual:
-
Listening to what is important to them; and
-
Linking them with appropriate community groups, services & activities.
Are you someone who enjoys listening to people and learning what interests and motivates them? If so, social prescribing could be a career that is well-suited to you!
If you wish to submit your interest in becoming a social prescriber with Spring, get in touch using this form. We'll reach out when a we have a vacancy!

"You don’t do things for me; you help me to do them myself.
"I've now got a purpose. I'm out and about more and thinking about new things that I can be doing, maybe swimming. Thank you. Spring has really helped.
"I have learnt so much about myself in this past year, including how to recognise and understand my own emotions.
